Saturday Brunch: my favorite part of the week. We’re always on the lookout for great new brunch spots and were fortunate enough to stumble upon Lowcountry in the West Village this past weekend. Lowcountry serves unassuming southern dishes in a friendly and casual environment – it’s the perfect place to meet with friends for plates of warm comfort food and drinks. The portions are pretty generous, so I’d recommend getting a couple of things on the menu to pass around the table. The Heuvos Rancheros, Fried Chiecken Biscuit, and Pulled Pork Sliders were just a few of our favs. As far as the drinks go, we loved the John Daly (Firefly Ice Tea Vodka, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, and a splash of Soda) while the boys stuck with the $6 Good Times Special: PBR with a shot of the house Bourbon. Cheers!
